What one of the reviewer says is right that most of the stuff is not new but with a checklist of these eight lessons, we have a handy tool to compare the success of different brands and glean our own lessons from it like Les Wexner who does not believe in traditional market research and tests the water with his own hypothesis and experiments. Les W is such an interesting character. The authors have a great way of writing, I could imagine the 1000 sq ft library and the quotes on the wall.
How much ever you might know, you learn more. I heard about the container store but now I know, what kind of pampered customer service to expect when I get there.
People feel strongly about brands and wont shift so easily. So if you can cinch that ‘you are my brand’ deal..
