Innovation the Cleveland Clinic Way: Transforming Healthcare by Putting Ideas to Work

After knowing that Cleveland Clinics found a solution for acid reflux, I was interested in reading about ‘Innovation the Cleveland Clinic Way’. In this book author Graham begins with some of the best first inventions at Cleveland Clinic – stopped heart surgery, cadaver kidney transplant, microflora link to cardiovascular health and so on. Then follow the ten commandments of innovation at Cleveland Clinic. Frequent references to popular innovation models like Tom Kelley’s Ten Innovation Faces and Innovation DNA, show how innovation at CCI is not an isolated way of doing things but a process, environment that can be replicated mainstream anywhere by anyone with commitment to mission.
